Gerard M Blair on delegation, communication, etc.

I found Gerard M Blair when I was looking for something on the web (serendipity maybe?). He's is a Senior Lecturer in VLSI Design at the Department of Electrical Engineering, The University of Edinburgh. He writes in a lucid and simple style that's easy to understand and makes some really good suggestions in his articles.

I particularly like his articles on The Art of Delegation and Conversation as Communication.

Kill Bill Vol. 2

Call it the lowering of expectations or whatever but I actually enjoyed the movie. A lot! A couple of people told me that it wasn't as good as Vol. 1 but I thought it was a different kind of movie. Much slower, lots of story (with the usual back story, which was handled beautifully), and what do you know, turns out it was a love story! I really enjoyed the part about the martial training with the Chinese Master (Tai Mei I think his name was). Crisp interactions and dialogue.

The chapter-wise numbering in the movie cracked me up. If you like Tarantino, you probably liked Kill Bill Vol 2. Unless your expectations were too high.
